What is live-in care?
A trained carer lives in the home with the person, giving one-to-one support through the day, with help at night if it is needed occasionally. It lets people stay in their own home, with their routines, pets and neighbours. Read our guide.
How much does live-in care cost?
Guide prices are Everyday from £1,550, Enhanced from £1,650 and Complex from £2,050 a week, confirmed in writing after a free assessment. Couples sharing one carer start from £1,800 a week. See our prices.
How fast can care start?
We aim to have a carer in place within 5–7 days where one is available, for example when someone is coming home from hospital. Timing depends on needs and availability, and we will always be honest with you.
Are the carers employed by you?
Yes. Every carer is employed, trained and supervised by us, and we are the regulated provider. You are never the employer, so you have no tax, insurance or employment law to manage.
How many hours does a live-in carer work?
Your carer lives in your home and works agreed hours each day, with proper breaks they take when it suits your routine. If help is needed regularly at night, we plan that with you so it is covered safely.
What is hourly care?
Visits from an hour, at times that suit you, from carers we employ, train and manage. Help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, company and outings, plus overnight care at home. Price confirmed after a free assessment. About hourly care.
Can we start with hourly visits and move to live-in care later?
Yes. Many families start with a few visits a week and move to live-in care as needs change. You keep the same team, the same care plan and one phone number.
Which areas do you cover?
Live-in care: across the South, South East and South West, and other parts of England case by case.
Hourly visits: in Torbay (Torquay, Paignton and Brixham), with Eastbourne and Bexhill coming soon. Use the postcode check at the top of the page to see what we offer near you.
How can we pay for live-in care?
Many families pay privately, and some receive help from their council or the NHS. Our funding guide explains the options in plain English.
