Questions families ask

Choosing the right level of care

How do I know which level of care we need?

We confirm it in a free assessment. We look at the help needed in the day and at night, any risks, and the person's health needs. The level is about the support, not the diagnosis alone.

Can the level change over time?

Yes. Needs often change, and the care plan is reviewed regularly. If someone needs more or less support, we talk to you first, agree a new plan and confirm any change in price in writing.

Is dementia always Enhanced?

Dementia is usually Enhanced, because it often needs closer supervision and night-time support. Some people need more, and some need less. Your assessment decides, and we will explain our reasoning.

Do you support people under 65?

Yes. We support adults aged 18 and over, including younger adults with early-onset dementia, MS or cerebral palsy.
