Questions families ask

Hourly care questions, answered

What does hourly care include?

Personal care such as washing and dressing, medication support, meals and help around the home, company and outings, and overnight care. Everything is set out in a care plan we agree with you.

How long is a visit?

Visits start from an hour, at times that suit you. They can be daily, a few times a week, or more often as needs change.

Can you help at night?

Yes. We can arrange overnight care at home, planned with you so the night is covered safely.

Who are the carers?

Every carer is employed, trained and supervised by us. We keep your team small and consistent, so you see familiar faces.

How much does hourly care cost?

It depends on how many hours you need and when. We confirm the price in writing after a free assessment, with no obligation.

Can we move to live-in care later?

Yes. Many families start with visits and move to live-in care as needs change, with the same team and one phone number.

Are you regulated?

Yes. The Live-In Carer is a trading name of Bellus Care Ltd, registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide personal care to adults at home.
